History

The project's idea arised from a program, which we held in autumn 2012 with students 10-12 years old from a primary school in Fürstenwalde (learn more about it --> here). The first steps were introduced and agreed during a CASCADE seminar in Wroclaw/Poland in summer 2012, "the vintage beat". The whole idea is based on the following thoughts:

• the "if the world was a village of 100 people..." - concept
• the awarness, that less and less families can afford to spent holidays with their children
• following the aims and objectives of the Youth in Action program (learn more about it --> here)
