Turkey - GENÇ GELİŞİM DERNEĞİ

Genc Gelisim (Youth Development Association) has been established in Ankara by a group of youth workers in 2004. Our main aim is to promote peace, solidarity and mutual understanding among young people from different cultures as well as providing opportunities for young people to develop themselves and contribute to their non-formal education processes. To reach this aim, YDA organises local, national and international training courses, seminar, youth exchanges, development projects and student exchanges. We organise social and cognitive development trainings (about team work, communication, cultural diversity, inclusion, conflict resolution, etc…) for young people at local level. The target group we work with is aged between 15-30 years old. Our association is a member of YEN-Youth Express Network and YFU-Youth For Understanding.
